Phone Outage Alert

 

Description: Phone switch software upgrade.

When: Saturday, May 13th, 12:01 AM - 12:08 AM PDT

Purpose: Upgrading the Intecom MS3 PBX to the latest software load, version 11.2.

Impact: This phone outage will last approximately 5-7 minutes (need to cold start PBX to invoke the new software load), and will consist of a complete loss of dial tone on desktop phones, as well as any analog lines built on the Intecom MS3 PBX. This outage will NOT affect any lines built on the SL-100 PBX platform.

              

NOTE: It is possible that after this maintenance, your voicemail light (indicator) may not initialize (one time only, not on-going). We recommend that when returning to your office after this maintenance, that you dial into the system to check for new messages, regardless of whether or not your voicemail light is flashing. If you find that you do have new messages, please follow the below instructions to fully restore voicemail light functionality.

 

To Restore Your Voice Mail Light

First, please clear out all new messages.

Then, call into your voicemail and leave yourself a test message following the prompts at the end of the message.

Lastly, go in and delete the test message.

 

This should reset your indicator light. If this does not work, please e-mail ms-bell, or contact our repair department at x65000, options 8, 3, 1, so that we may offer additional assistance.
