The Beta Version of M?crosöft's next generation of Web Based Training is available!

Beta 1 Release

 

M?crosöft Interactive Training’s M?crosöft Windows 2000 Professional Step by Step Interactive and M?crosöft Office 2000 Step by Step Interactive are multimedia training titles designed for our new streaming client-server architecture running on IE5. They are comprehensive training titles featuring conceptual and task-based instruction.  Additionally, simulations, animated conceptual lessons, and self-assessment quizzes create an easy and flexible learning environment. 

 

Features include:

·         Many interactive, hands-on exercises using the M?crosöft Interactive Training simulation engine

·         Streaming content delivery

·         In-depth coverage of key conceptual information

·         The ability to test your skills before and after a lesson, and objectively measure your skill mastery

·         An administration page that allows training administrators to customize the content and delivery of the training to suit the needs and requirements of their audience, and track the progress of individuals or groups of users

·         Single station CD-ROM, intranet, and internet distribution options

 

System Requirements:

Minimum computer:

·          Pentium 90 MHz with 16 MB of RAM

·          Super VGA display with 256 colors at 800x600 resolution

·          16-bit sound card

·          56-Kbps modem or Ethernet card (for Internet or network connection)

·          Windows 95

 

Recommended computer:

·          Pentium 120 MHz or better with 32 MB or more of RAM

·          Super VGA display at 1024x768 resolution with High Color (16 bit), or better

·          16-bit sound card

·          56-Kbps or better modem card or Ethernet card (for Internet or network connection)

·          Windows 98, Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 3, Windows 2000.

 

Additional requirements:

·          M?crosöft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

·          Windows Media Player 6.0 or higher

·          M?crosöft Mouse or compatible pointing device

·          Windows-compatible sound board and headphones or speakers (required for audio)

·          A minimum of 2 MB available hard disk space.

 

Installation:

 

·          Connect to our course selection site at http://mitweb and select a sub course from the list.      

·         PLEASE NOTE: You must be connected to the corporate network while running this program.  The application communicates with a SQL database to record user progress, as well as downloading content from the server.

·         This product will work over a RAS connection, although the response will of course be slower than the internal T1 LAN connection.  Please be aware of this if you intend to download this product over RAS.

·         Beta Users Note:  You will not be able to transfer your lesson progress information to the final release version.
